Why? Do we remember?

Why? Do we remember?

What is at stake?
What is lost?

Remember?
remember the blood we shed.
remember the bloody stream of history bleed.
remember the price we paid.

Why are we here, again.
Why are we shedding blood again.
Why are we withstanding history again.
Why are we paying the price again.

Is this wrong?
The occupation.
We need it.
Do we?
Call for it,
We need it.

What box?
A black box.
A box of feed,
for the communist beast.

Trade, what trade?
No, there is no trade.
There is no give and take.
There is give, and only give.
Just give.
Give, give,give.
That is how you sell a nation.

Unity?
Unity of the people?
What people?
What are we?
Do we know?
What's we?

Give us transparency.
Give us tranquility.
Give us honesty.

This is a poetic response to what is going on in taiwan. It all started on March 17th 2014 when a trade act was passed within 30 seconds. Within the next 26 hours, students gathered. They occupied  the legislative Yuan as a form of protest. A response and act against the process how the act is passed, it was not transparent nor was it righteous. They are also worried of the impact that it would bring to Taiwan. Most importantly, the Trade act is signed between Taiwan and Communist China, we are two countries with great disagreements on Taiwan's identity. We have also seen what China have done to people that did not follow their wishes. How would we be able to know, we are safe?
